Julie Leslie
Meet Julie Leslie, founder and owner of Love Your Dog, and proud owner of Nala and Henry.
Julie, originally a teacher, combined her life-long love for dogs and passion for teaching to found Love Your Dog in 2010. Since then, she has been working across the Cayman Islands to develop better balanced, happier hounds and deeper relationships between the dogs and their owners.
She has an exceptional understanding of animals and she specializes in addressing behavioural issues in dogs. Julie and her team work with each dog and its owners, assessing its individual needs. They work to balance its excitement or reactivity before meeting other dogs so as to encourage it to socialise in a well-balanced manner. This learned behaviour goes home, and with consistent effort from the owner, leads to a happy dog-human relationship.
Through a combination of boundaries and structure the dogs are happy and get to maximise their learning while having fun.
Love Your Dog offers love and care when you can’t be there. We provide daycare, boarding and training for your best four-legged friend and ensure a fun, safe and stimulating off-leash environment where they can hang out and play all day and snuggle down overnight watching their favourite tv show or listening to relaxing music – just like home. Leaving you to enjoy the peace of mind knowing they are home from home, with a member of our team is always on site around the clock.
